Air Couriers Get A Travel Discount
Air couriers enjoy cheaper airfares. They can fly across the ocean for only $99 but are willing to handle a lay over that may last an extra day or two.
If you become a courier, the company hiring you expects you to bring only one carry-on for your flight and to surrender your baggage allowance to them.
Couriers receive discount airline tickets when they work for a company that has hired them to carry shipping documents on their flights.
These companies use couriers because it is quicker and less expensive to ship freight as luggage rather than air cargo. Couriers may also carry time-sensitive items such as business documents or medicines.
As a courier, you can only bring carry on luggage. You cannot check in your personal luggage. You give up your baggage allowance to the courier company hiring you. They need it for the materials they are shipping.
You must make sure you can make the flight because courier tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. They are regular round trip coach tickets.
Most likely, you will not keep any frequent flier mileage earned. It depends on the policy of the courier company. On the bright side, the length of stay for courier tickets is usually a seven-day stopover.
Occasionally but rarely, stays can go on for up to half a year. You could be asked to be a courier on your return flight back home. Because you gave up your luggage allowance, it may be hard to bring back any shopping you had planned to do.
You probably won't be sent to some exotic island. You'll probably go to main business centers of the world because of the kinds of materials you will handle.
It is possible to travel with a companion, but you need to be flexible with your scheduling. It's rare to have courier seats together on the same flight. However, you can time it so you could meet your companion within the same day.

Cruising the Bahamas Islands for Your Next Sailing Charter
The Bahamas is composed of approximately 700 major and minor islands along the Atlantic Ocean (of which only 30 are inhabited). Most of these islands are made of corals formed thousands of years ago. The island country is only 50 miles away from the US state of Florida. Sailing in Bahamas is a good start if you want to travel around the Caribbean. Its 700 mile coastline stretches as far as Haiti. Aside from this, its waters are great for both sailing and scuba diving.
